Jibin Zhan

Jibin Zhan oversees Conviva's engineering organizations, spanning overall architecture, big data infrastructure, computation and storage, AI/ML, data analysis and data science, as well as the company's TechOps/DevOps/SRE functions.

He is a recognized contributor to the field of large-scale systems and video streaming research, having published widely and received two ACM SIGCOMM Test of Time Awards (2015 and 2022) for work with lasting impact on the field.

At Conviva, Jibin has helped build the technical foundation behind the company's Time-State Data Platform and its broader analytics infrastructure, drawing on research spanning real-time video quality optimization, internet-scale control planes, and large-scale data processing systems.
